About The Publisher: Jodi Lorence

Welcome to Macaroni Kid - South Metro. I have been a Macaroni Kid publisher for over 13 years. This has enable me to be at home and care for my family.

Time and connection with my family has always been my focus. My husband and I have 3 adult kids and I am also blessed with 3 grandsons and 3 grand doodles and my hubby and I have a golden doodle named Nordy (after the Minnesota Wild mascot). My family all lives in Minnesota and within a few miles from each other. I have been so lucky to be able to have been home with my kids when they were growing up and also have been able to care for my grandsons while their parents are at work. My life is full of family, love, life, laughter, blessings, & friends. Macaroni Kid allows me to embody my purpose, passion, and strong dedication to children and families. 

I strongly believe that "A child has a special way of adding joy to every day.”

My goal as a Macaroni Kid publisher is to help connect you with family fun, family resources and family-focused businesses right in our backyard (saving you the time of research so you can spend MORE time with your kids)! There is so much to enjoy in our local communities! Please don’t hesitate to reach out with your suggestions, with local events, and with resources and businesses that you’d like to see highlighted or may be of interest to other local families.
