MINNEAPOLIS (February 18, 2025) – For anyone who loves the great outdoors, the Northwest Sportshow is back at the Minneapolis Convention Center Thursday, March 13 through Sunday, March 16. The show features hundreds of exhibitors showcasing fishing, boating, RV’s, motorized vehicles, apparel, and much more.
SHOW HIGHLIGHTS
Trout Pond
There’s no limit to the fun! The catch-and-release fishing pond is a great way to introduce youngsters to the fun of fishing.
Fishing 101: Presented by Lund
Covers basic fishing skills for all anglers. Cast for big fish at LUNDker Lake or test your casting accuracy at Backyard Flipping. Staffed by Lund Boat Fishing Pros and Student Angler Tournament Trail Coaches. Young anglers can pick up a free fishing coloring book or play a game of FISH Bingo too!
Crafty young anglers can create a crankbait using plastic bodies, paint, and stick-on lure eyes to take home to catch fish or have as a one-of-a-kind show souvenir!
Fishing Demonstration Tank
Watch pro anglers demonstrate their fishing and casting skills at this 5,000-gallon aquarium stocked with native Minnesota species.
Duck’s Unlimited
Learn how Ducks Unlimited (DU) works to conserve wetlands and protect waterfowl in Minnesota. Help fill the skies with waterfowl for future generations—support DU’s conservation mission with silent auctions, raffles and more. FREE Duck Decoy painting for kids (while supplies last).
Up North Lodge
A relaxing escape from winter where guests can enjoy a bite to eat and drink and listen to live music while hanging out with their crew at our Minnesota-inspired oasis.
RV Area
Explore 60,000 sq. ft. of new RV’s presented by Metro RV Dealers Association.
Walleye Fish Fry
Is there anything more Minnesotan than a Friday night fish fry this time of year? Stop by for a bite of deliciously fried walleye on March 14.
Seminars
Featuring a variety of topics: Walleye, Muskies, Rock Bass, and more! Hear from angling pros including Jason Mitchell, Toby Kvalevog, Dan Maguire, David Janiszewiski, Kevin Cochran, and more.

Free admission for all aged 60+ with valid ID.
Friday, March 14 – Hero Day - Free admission for all active military personnel, veterans, police officers, firefighters, EMT’s, and medical professionals get free admission with a valid ID.
