Memorial Day historically has been a good weekend to get friends and family together for a picnic or barbeque to celebrate service people that have continually protected our country. Please find time to honor service people this weekend and always. It is because of their efforts that we can feel confident that we will be protected. If any service people are reading this I want you to know that I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your bravery for your unselfish dedication to keeping America safe. I am forever grateful.

About: Join local elected officials and representatives from the Rosemount Legion and Rosemount VFW in honoring the fallen soldiers of Rosemount in a special ceremony. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on.

Memorial Day Celebration at Lakewood

What: Join us on this special day of commemoration to honor and remember those who are loved and missed at our annual ceremony in person at the Soldier’s Memorial, followed by a special celebration with activities and refreshments for the whole family. This event is free and all are welcome.

Grab your lawn chairs and join us for the Memorial Day Service of Remembrance at Roselawn Cemetery ~ Soldiers' Rest Veterans Memorial. If the weather is inclement, the service will be moved to the Historic Roselawn Chapel.
Join us for the 4th Annual $5.00 Picnic Lunch (Hot Dog, Chips, & Beverage). 11am-2pm Saturday, Sunday & Monday of Memorial Day Weekend on the newly restored patio of the Historic Roselawn Chapel & Gathering Room. All proceeds go to the Roselawn Heritage Foundation. Fresh Floral Memorial Day bouquets can be pre-ordered using the order form HERE.
