🌳 34th Arbor Day Tree Planting at Distad Park (Farmington)April 25, 2025

The Arbor Day tree planting continues for its 34th year! If we all say Yes to Arbor Day, imagine what we can grow! The Arbor Day Foundation says: It takes a lot of Yeses to plant 500 million trees. That’s why when you commit to celebrating Arbor Day, you’re doing more than helping put trees in the ground. You’re saying Yes to a healthier world. So, grab your gardening gloves and join us! According to AmericanForest.org, trees are natural air conditioning, air filters and sponges for carbon. Many neighborhoods severely lack trees and the life-saving health benefits they provide. With this new tree planting in Distad Park, park users will be able to enjoy shaded recreation for years to come.
